Updates / closures

Important Trail Update

Forestry harvesting operations are currently underway in the forest. We’re working closely with the forestry team to manage risks and keep trail disruption to a minimum.

The Skills Area, Pumptrack and Freeride area are currently closed due to harvesting work.

Running Trails – Currently CLOSED due to harvesting operations

Before you ride
Please check the Trail Notice Board at the Visitor Centre for the latest updates.

Thanks for your cooperation and support—riding responsibly helps us keep the trails open for everyone!

——————————–

Please follow the diversion signs to avoid current forest harvesting. Please follow any additional instructions given by machine operators in the area. Do not attempt to ride any of these sections of the trail for your safety and the safety of the operators in the area. Please stick to the way-marked trails and don’t ride on the forest roads unless directed by diversion signs. This is because of the harvesting vehicles.

Please also stay only on the waymarked routes throughout the forest during this period as a lot of heavy timber haulage will be taking place on ALL forest roads. Many thanks for your help and happy riding.

We’re Back Open!

After a wild week of winter weather, we’re thrilled to announce that the gates are open once again, and the forest is ready to welcome you back!

While we’ve made great progress, there are still a few trail diversions in place due to fallen trees. Here’s what’s open as of today:

  • MTB Green
  • MTB Blue
  • MTB Black
  • Most of the Red MTB Trail
  • Reservoir Walking Trail
  • Blue Walking Trail

Trail Diversion Alert: There’s a diversion on the Red Trail just after the Blue and before Snowdon View. Please follow the signs around the affected area.

We recommend riding with extra caution as there may still be some debris or trees that could impact the trail network. If you spot anything, please drop by the centre and let our team know.

It feels like it’s been forever, and we can’t wait to see you all back on the trails! #ForestAdventure #TrailUpdate #WinterReady #BackInAction
