ALL OF OUR TRAILS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN.
There are currently no diversions in place at the moment, as of 12th October 2023.
Please also stay only on the waymarked routes throughout the forest during this period as a lot of heavy timber haulage will be taking place on ALL forest roads. Many thanks for your help and happy riding.

Coed Llandegla Forest is no stranger to severe weather conditions, particularly during winter months. During these times please take these precautions to make your visit safer and more enjoyable:
Contact us ahead of your visit or check our Facebook page for updates.
Consult the local weather forecast and follow any guidance regarding travelling.
Take care in the car park and on the access road – We have limited resources to remove snow and ice and you should expect to be driving on slippery surfaces immediately on leaving the main A525 road.
Follow directions on signs in the forest, or given by Oneplanet Adventure staff.
Wear suitable footwear and clothing.
Expect all trail surfaces to be slippery – we do not treat any of the trails around the centre or in the forest.
Ride mountain biking trails in accordance with your skill level, the conditions and the suitability of your equipment – conditions are likely to be slippery, especially where there is snow and ice.
Please note that in extreme weather, such as high winds or snow and ice, we may have to shut the visitor centre and car park due to the risk of injury to visitors or staff.
Please bear with us if, during periods of extreme weather, we need to take actions which could include closing the Visitor Centre and Car Park without warning. We only do this when visitor and staff safety are an issue, so please understand that although disruptive, we do not undertake such actions lightly.

Dogs love running in the forest, this is fine, so long as the dog is under close control at all times! If you are not sure you can control your dog, it should be kept on the lead. It is your responsibility to ensure your dog is under control at all times whilst in the forest.
Many people enjoy riding on the trails with their dogs, again this is ok, so long as it is under close control, and does not interfere with anyone else’s enjoyment of the trails, again, if you are in any doubt, you should not ride on the trails with your dog. It might be a good idea to ride with your dog at a quieter time, maybe mid week, early morning or late afternoon, when fewer riders are around.
Always clean up after your dog and get rid of the mess responsibly –‘ bag it and bin it’. For more information on walking your dog in the countryside, please take a look at, and abide by, the Dog Walking Code.
We love dogs at Oneplanet Adventure. Inside the building, well behaved dogs are welcome, they must be accompanied by their owner and be on a lead at all times. During exceptionally busy times it may not be a good idea to have a large dog blocking the aisles in between tables in the cafe, so please use your common sense.
