Important Trail Update

Forestry harvesting operations are currently underway in the forest. We’re working closely with the forestry team to manage risks and keep trail disruption to a minimum.

The Skills Area, Pumptrack and Freeride area are currently closed due to harvesting work.

Please follow the diversion signs to avoid current forest harvesting. Please follow any additional instructions given by machine operators in the area. Do not attempt to ride any of these sections of the trail for your safety and the safety of the operators in the area. Please stick to the way-marked trails and don’t ride on the forest roads unless directed by diversion signs. This is because of the harvesting vehicles.

Please also stay only on the waymarked routes throughout the forest during this period as a lot of heavy timber haulage will be taking place on ALL forest roads. Many thanks for your help and happy riding.

STORM EOWYN 24th JANUARY – ALL TRAILS CLOSED

Here we go again… An Amber Warning of high winds has been issued for our area, so we have no option but to close on Friday 24th January.

We are hopeful that the storm will pass without further damage to the forest and that we will reopen on Saturday as normal. However, we will need to check the trail network tomorrow evening before we can fully assess the situation and confirm either way.

We will provide a further update tomorrow evening informing you of the situation for the weekend.
