Important Trail Update
Forestry harvesting operations are currently underway in the forest. We’re working closely with the forestry team to manage risks and keep trail disruption to a minimum.
The Skills Area, Pumptrack and Freeride area are currently closed due to harvesting work.
Running Trails – Currently CLOSED due to harvesting operations
Before you ride
Please check the Trail Notice Board at the Visitor Centre for the latest updates.
Thanks for your cooperation and support—riding responsibly helps us keep the trails open for everyone!
——————————–
Please follow the diversion signs to avoid current forest harvesting. Please follow any additional instructions given by machine operators in the area. Do not attempt to ride any of these sections of the trail for your safety and the safety of the operators in the area. Please stick to the way-marked trails and don’t ride on the forest roads unless directed by diversion signs. This is because of the harvesting vehicles.
Please also stay only on the waymarked routes throughout the forest during this period as a lot of heavy timber haulage will be taking place on ALL forest roads. Many thanks for your help and happy riding.

Consultation documentation for proposed lodges accommodation at Oneplanet Adventure
Welcome to Oneplanet Adventure, the operator of the UK’s premier Forest Visitor Centre. Nestled in the stunning Coed Llandegla within the Clwydian Hills and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, our centre attracts 160,000 visitors annually who come to enjoy our extensive mountain biking, running, and walking trails. Since opening in 2006, we have expanded our facilities to include a café, a bike shop with rental services, workshop facilities, and parking for approximately 300 vehicles. We are proud to employ a dedicated team of twelve full-time and sixteen part-time staff members.
We are excited to announce our proposed development, which will introduce year-round, self-contained visitor accommodations with up to 14 prefabricated, single-story timber lodges. This enhancement aims to extend the duration of each visitor’s stay, promoting greater engagement with the local area and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our centre. Our development plans align with Denbighshire County Council’s Tourism Strategy, supporting their vision for sustainable tourism growth.
We would welcome your comments on this exciting development.
