Important Trail Update
Forestry harvesting operations are currently underway in the forest. We’re working closely with the forestry team to manage risks and keep trail disruption to a minimum.
The Skills Area, Pumptrack and Freeride area are currently closed due to harvesting work.
Running Trails – Currently CLOSED due to harvesting operations
Before you ride
Please check the Trail Notice Board at the Visitor Centre for the latest updates.
Thanks for your cooperation and support—riding responsibly helps us keep the trails open for everyone!
——————————–
Please follow the diversion signs to avoid current forest harvesting. Please follow any additional instructions given by machine operators in the area. Do not attempt to ride any of these sections of the trail for your safety and the safety of the operators in the area. Please stick to the way-marked trails and don’t ride on the forest roads unless directed by diversion signs. This is because of the harvesting vehicles.
Please also stay only on the waymarked routes throughout the forest during this period as a lot of heavy timber haulage will be taking place on ALL forest roads. Many thanks for your help and happy riding.

Every adventure needs a time for food and reflection.
Our cafe provides the perfect recipe of hearty food, great coffee and welcoming atmosphere to make sure no stories go untold.
Our philosophy is simple – We make food that you will want to eat at the end of your adventure. Simple, home cooked food with local providence and cooked with passion. We don’t go in for ‘slam-it-in-the-microwave’ food from a bag: we serve the sort of food we want to eat after a ride.
We open late every Wednesday so you can get your mid-week adrenalin fix, safe in the knowledge that a hearty meal awaits you on your return.
Every Wednesday we are open til 9.00pm with hot food being served until 8.30pm. During the winter, this means a warming bowl of freshly made stew or curry, and during the summer we put on our legendary BBQ’s or wood fired pizza’s out on the decking. It’s a great reason to meet up with friends and have a mid-week catch up.
We know how lucky we are to live in North Wales, not only because of the amazing scenery and awesome opportunities for getting outdoors, but also for the enormous wealth of fantastic local food providers. We are committed to sourcing as much of our ingredients as locally as possible.
Our meat comes from the farm adjacent to the forest. Our milk, from the local dairy and our bread is delivered fresh from the bakery down the road. We believe that not only does this help to support the local economy, it means we are able to offer you the best quality food possible.
We are extremely proud to have been awarded the ‘2016 North East Food Challenge‘ title for locally sourced dishes.
