Updates / closures

Important Trail Update

Forestry harvesting operations are currently underway in the forest. We’re working closely with the forestry team to manage risks and keep trail disruption to a minimum.

The Skills Area, Pumptrack and Freeride area are currently closed due to harvesting work.

Running Trails – Currently CLOSED due to harvesting operations

Before you ride
Please check the Trail Notice Board at the Visitor Centre for the latest updates.

Thanks for your cooperation and support—riding responsibly helps us keep the trails open for everyone!

——————————–

Please follow the diversion signs to avoid current forest harvesting. Please follow any additional instructions given by machine operators in the area. Do not attempt to ride any of these sections of the trail for your safety and the safety of the operators in the area. Please stick to the way-marked trails and don’t ride on the forest roads unless directed by diversion signs. This is because of the harvesting vehicles.

Please also stay only on the waymarked routes throughout the forest during this period as a lot of heavy timber haulage will be taking place on ALL forest roads. Many thanks for your help and happy riding.

Forbidden Bikes – Demo Day 8th October 2023
vrgr

Interested in trying a Forbidden Bike?

Well, this is your perfect time. We’ve teamed up with Forbidden and their UK-based team to bring you a fantastic demo day on the 8th of October 2023.

We will have the full Forbidden range, including the Druid for you to test and find out what their High-Pivot technology is all about.

Full-size run of Druids and Dreadnoughts…

Due to the expected high demand and limited bikes available on the day, we’ll be running this demo slightly differently. It’s now a pre-booked demo ride, where you will get a 1-hour slot to take the bike out for a spin; starting from 9am until 3pm.

To book, please email Matthew@oneplanetadventure.com or call the shop on 01978 751656 and the team will be happy to help.

We will still have our new 30-40 minute demo loop set out in the forest and the guys from Forbidden will be there to answer any questions about the bikes when you get back.

All you need to bring to demo a Forbidden is:
– 1 x Photo ID
– 1 x Physical Document with the same name and address on
– £10 Donation to Mountain Rescue.

We will have more information about the day released over the coming weeks.

If you have any questions, drop us a call or message.
