The Trail Burger is Here
We are proud to announce that we have launched the Trail Burger this weekend.
We will change the Burger / Dish in January for what ever is you guys want (dependent on the available help of our suppliers)
The tried, tested and loved burger that we have for December is:
Stanley Jones 10oz beef burger, toped with slow roast pulled beef brisket.
Patchwork Foods Bacon Jam
Melted Welsh Cheddar Cheese
Served on a toasted brioche bun with our own home made slaw and skin on fries
This has been made possible by our exceptional local suppliers. Without their help it simply would not have been possible.
So a huge shout out is going out to:
Patchwork Traditional Foods: the award winning artisan food company from Ruthin. Just down the road from us. www.patchworkfoods.com
We may well have some other suppliers on board really soon also.
We will be running this burger throughout December. The money generated will then be used for digger and dumper hire and a certain section of trail will then be worked on. This will be decided on by the revenue generated.
So what is on the menu and how does it work?
Simple, 15% of the sale price of this burger gets donated into maintenance and development of the trails.
We have a great deal in place with Griffiths Hire Shops
, the guys ride here and are super keen to help us out with improving the trails and making that revenue generated go as far as it can.
We also have a trail pixie donation tin on the cafe counter which is being put towards Tools, PPE and winter clothes for our great bunch of hero #trailpixies
Please feel free to spread the word far and wide using #trailburger. This is something that Badger and Oneplanet Adventure team are very proud of as it helps us go that little bit further in making the improvements that benefit all riders.
