Fingers Crossed for Tomorrow

This is what we have been battling against this afternoon, conditions improved enough to allow staff to come in and work on clearing snow so we have a fighting change of opening tomorrow morning. Car park 1 should be open providing we don’t get any more snow over night and we will continue to work on getting as much of the parking clear as we can.

The forecast is saying rain with temperatures of 0 degrees, this could easily fall as snow. Get everything crossed that we have rain. You can view it here.

On a more serious note:

Due to the weather today vehicles have been parked in passing places along the access road, this has caused a vehicle to be forced off the road and through a fence. Please be aware that we have neighbours and we need to have a clear route in for an Ambulance, if needed. This was the case yesterday; where inconsiderate parking, added to the problems caused by the icy conditions, had made access very difficult for an Ambulance. You never know, it could be you or someone you care about needing this service, and we would hate for it to be delayed for any reason.
