Changes to Hire Bike Booking Procedure

Please note, that as of 1st February 2017, payment for hire bikes will be required at the time of booking. Payment will be required in full, but will be refundable up to seven days in advance of actual hire date.

Our hire bike fleet is often fully booked at peak times, meaning that we must disappoint customers wishing to come and ride, however, we often have a number of ‘no shows’ on the day, meaning that in actual fact we could of accommodated customers who we have had to let down.

In taking pre payment we hope to reduce the number of bikes being booked out, but not utilised, offering more customers the chance to come and ride the trails.

Payment will be taken over the phone for all hire bookings, of all group sizes, and must be made in full. No bookings will be taken in advance without full payment being made.

In doing this we also hope to reduce queueing times in the shop doing peak times.

Hire fees will remain at £25 per bike for the 1/2 day session and £35 for the full day, including helmets for our standard hire bikes. Demo bike bookings will also require pre-payment.

We are currently working hard on an online booking solution, which will help speed up this process for you, but in the meantime we ask that upon calling to book, you have your relevant details at hand for payment over the phone.
