Every adventure needs a time for food and reflection.
Our cafe provides the perfect recipe of hearty food, great coffee and welcoming atmosphere to make sure no stories go untold.
Our philosophy is simple – We make food that you will want to eat at the end of your adventure. Simple, home cooked food with local providence and cooked with passion. We don’t go in for ‘slam-it-in-the-microwave’ food from a bag: we serve the sort of food we want to eat after a ride.
Cycling and coffee have long gone hand in hand and at Oneplanet Adventure that’s no exception. So much so, that not content with simply ordering from any old supplier, we scoured the earth to develop our own blends to serve in our cafe. We were asked so many times where people could buy the coffee from, that we decided we needed to make it available to you, wherever you are and whenever you wanted it.
Can’t wait until the weekend to get your fresh air fix. Well, you don’t need to.
We open late every Wednesday so you can get your mid-week adrenalin fix, safe in the knowledge that a hearty meal awaits you on your return.
Every Wednesday we are open til 9.00pm with hot food being served until 8.30pm. During the winter, this means a warming bowl of freshly made stew or curry, and during the summer we put on our legendary BBQ’s out on the decking. It’s a great reason to meet up with friends and have a mid-week catch up.
If you’r a regular at the centre, be sure to pick up your ‘Coffee Loyalty Card’ from the cafe counter. For every 8 hot drinks bought, we’ll give you a free brew on us. Don’t worry if coffee ain’t your bag – All hot drinks count.
As well as giving you a free drink, for every loyalty card you fill out, you can be entered into our monthly draw for a free bag of our famous ‘OPA Blend’ coffee. Meaning you can enjoy your favourite mountain bikers coffee anytime, anywhere.
We know how lucky we are to live in North Wales, not only because of the amazing scenery and awesome opportunities for getting outdoors, but also for the enormous wealth of fantastic local food providers. We are committed to sourcing as much of our ingredients as locally as possible.
Our meat comes from the farm adjacent to the forest. Our milk, from the local dairy and our bread is delivered fresh from the bakery down the road. We believe that not only does this help to support the local economy, it means we are able to offer you the best quality food possible.
We are extremely proud to have been awarded the ‘2016 North East Food Challenge‘ title for locally sourced dishes.
